A fast, cinematic Astro website built for one of Kent's leading smokehouses.
The Nook Smokehouse has built a strong reputation in Kent for food quality and meat smoking craft. Their website needed to match it: fast, atmospheric, and built to turn visitors into restuarant bookings. Photos and video had to carry the atmosphere without slowing the site down.
We built a custom Astro site with video headers on the key pages, so it feels cinematic without the load-time penalty video usually brings. Every video has a WebP fallback, so visitors on slower connections or older browsers still get a fast, polished experience. We've also supported the site with ongoing marketing since launch.
The Nook Smokehouse now has a website that matches the quality of what they do: fast, visually stunning, and built to perform. It's helped cement their position as one of the leading smokehouses in Kent, with strong and growing visitor numbers to the site.
Search visibility has grown steadily since launch. Over the last three months (June - Aug 2026) the site has picked up 6.37K clicks from 49.7K impressions on Google, with rankings trending upward.
Alongside the website, we've supported them with ongoing marketing and Local SEO, helping drive consistent traffic and visibility as their reputation has grown.
