Shopify Website for Iconic Jewellery
Problem
The online store was neglected as the majority of their sales came from instore customers.
Objective
To create a new user friendly website that would be treated as a 4th store to generate more online sales. This would allow customers to shop online easily without feeling overwhelmed or confused. Paid advertising to be set up and tested with a low budget to see if viable for the client.
Empathy
After a discovery workshop with the team, we were ale to gain an understanding of how the business operated as well as gain a deeper insight into the various users that visit the stores.
Research
Competitor research allowed us to define user groups and create user avatars. The Iconic team then came up with their own unique avatars and role played as those users to develop an understanding of why they might use the website for what they need.
Delivery
Following the discovery session, a set of wire frames were created to give the client an idea of what the site will look like once live. After initial feedback, the design process continued until a user-friendly, updated site was created.
Outcome
Now Iconic Jewellery have a brand-new website that is easy to navigate. Additionally, we have set up an ad campaign for the Christmas period which has generated a 15% clickthrough rate and is a great achievement. All being well, we will be launching further campaigns in the new year.
